In the latest episode of the "Here & Now" Videocast I am joined by fellow countryman and professional race car driver Axcil Jefferies. I was honoured and inspired by Axcil's ability to learn and grow from life's challenges and turn them into personality strengths. In spite of the demands and expectations placed on a professional race car driver, Axcil has developed an amazing character and perception of life.
With his Dad as a driving force he is achieving his dreams and moulding himself into an exceptional and inspirational gentleman. A hearftelt gratitude to Axcil. Axcil's focus and drive reminded me of a qoute I read from Tony Robbins: "A fantastic analogy for the power of focus is racing cars. When your car begins to skid, the natural reflex is to look at the wall in an attempt to avoid it. But if you keep focusing on what you fear, that's exactly where you'll end up. Professional racers know that we unconsciously steer in the direction of our focus, so with their lives on the line, they turn their focus away from the wall and towards the open track."
